Technical Diving Gear

Below are a few lists of gear you will need to complete our technical diving courses. If you find yourself in need of a few items, please contact us for a quote.

For All Classes:

• Two cutting devices
• Two bottom timers/depth gauges (or computers)
• Bungee necklace
• Wrist Slate
• Pocket slate
• BC Pocket- if not on drysuit

All Classes Backmount:

• Double tanks with isolation manifold
• Wing style Bladder- minimum 55 lb lift.
• Harness System
• Reel with at minimum 150 ft of line
• Two first stages (two second stages, two inflator hoses, and one pressure gauge)
• 5 to 7 ft long hose for primary second stage

All Classes Sidemount:

• Two equally matched, large capacity cylinder with lefthand and righthand valves
• Sidemount style BCD
• Reel with at minimum 150 ft of line
• Two first stages, each with one second stage, one inflator hose, and one pressure gauge.
• 5 to 7 ft long hose for one of the second stages
• Retaining bands to stow long hose to tank

All Classes Rebreather:

• A complete closed circuit rebreather
• Minimum of 1 CCR dive computer, or bottom timer and depth gauge
• Access to an oxygen analyzer
• Bailout gas supply (and an externally carried redundant air source).

Additional Gear for Advanced Nitrox, Deco Procedures, and Trimix Courses:

• Drysuit
• Minimum 50 lb lift bag
• Deco bottle rigged with two clips for side slinging and O2 ready- minimum 40 cu.ft.
• O2 clean first stage with second stage and pressure gauge
• Signaling device (whistle, mirror, etc)

Additional Gear for Trimix Courses:

• Dry suit inflation bottle with mounting system
• Regulator with LP inflator hose and button gauge for dry suit inflation bottle.

Additional Gear for Cave Courses:

• Non-directional line markers – cookies or clothes pins
• Primary light source
• 2 secondary/ back-up lights
• 2 reels total- one primary and one cavern reel
